With the Manchester Lightning Youth Bowling Club
We now have 30+ members, boys and girls aged between 8 and 18 years, who compete in leagues each Saturday morning and join in a countrywide tournament calendar.
Free instruction by qualified, licensed B.T.B.A instructors.
Come along any Saturday morning at 9:00 am till 11am.
At the Hollywood bowl, Ashton Moss Leisure Park, Manchester. Map
The YBC is a member of the National Association of Youth Bowling Clubs and the league is sanctioned by the B.T.B.A.

- Round 2 of the Junior scratch tour will be at Burnley on 30 November
- The Christmas break will be from 20th December, thus there wil be no bowling on
- 20th December

- Good luck to Clayton and Jonathan K who are representing Lancashire in the under 14s nationals on sunday 12th at Nuneaton

- Jonathan Keating 200 badge with a 204 in the JTST
- Well done to Amanda for being invited to the NAYBC Academy for advanced training, this was due to her achievements for Lancashire in this years rankings
- New Boys High Game Scratch of 264 and Handicap 293 goes to Chris Campbell
- New Girls High Game Scratch of 195 goes to Amanda Slinn
- Chris earned his 8 bagger and Charlotte her 125 badge with a score of 136
- Henry scored 581 scratch to get his 550 & 575 badges.
- Luke scored 548 to get his 525 badge
- We had 2 handicap series over 700 - Luke (746) & Henry (725)
- We had 4 teams scoring over 1800, Team GB wth 1811 lost to Killer Kids 1905.
- Mark Nixon got his 125 badge with a score of 132.
- Awards Josh Williams 4x, 5x, 150 & 175.
- Aaron Luckhurst - 100 badge

- Saturday 2nd August will be our annual Triple X competition each week through August will then be a short league
- The new Trios league will begin in September
